To adequately disinfect your device, we recommend that you:

Wear disposable gloves and use 60% (or above) Isopropyl Alcohol Wipes to disinfect the InBody while paying special attention to the hand electrodes, footplate, screen, and any other parts of the device that are frequently touched

To prevent damage to the device:

Do not spray or pour liquids directly on your InBody device

Do not immerse any part of the InBody device in liquid

Do not use cleaning agents composed of quaternary ammonium compounds such as benzalkonium/benzalkonium chloride, which may cause discoloration and corrosion

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly and use an InBody Tissue to disinfect the device.
  2. Securely roll up the optional disposable cuff barrier over the length of your arm
  3. With your tissue, press the “Start” button to self-test
